You can almost reach out and touch the physical parts of this. You are so clever, I'm in awe.

Hiya Molly, New Years Eve always makes me feel shitty, all that celebrational atmosphere, it's like auto pilot on a massive scale - the empty eyes kinda reflect that

Yes, I always get a huge feeling of sadness on NYE. I tend to sit there feeling completely out of it and staring blankly at a wall.* It's like you feel forced to be happy. Fixed, maddening grins everywhere. I usually slip out and look at the sky. Far nicer.

I adore that Fuzzy Felt pic as well. There is a manic, crazy feel to Fuzzy Felt. You've captured that brilliantly. And it would be brilliant to make your piece into an actual set. God, I'm getting quite excited by that idea! You should patent it. I love the idea of fixed, yet manic imagery. I'm always fascinated by 'lego hair' as well. The Beatles had it. I'd love to have clip on hair.

Sorry, I've gone off on a tangent there...as usual.

Did you use watercolour for that Fuzzy Felt pic? Or is it coloured inks?

    *i.e just like usual
